I'm sure most of you know how to line dance.  After all this is Texas!  If you are pretty decent at it though, record yourself doing a line dance to help  with clean, safe drinking water.  I know you're thinking what does line dancing have to do with safe drinking water.

Alan Jackson is currently  in a television commercial for GE’s ecomagination technology  showing line-dancers from all around the world.  GE is now launching an online video contest doing the same thing.   You can submit your own home video of the line dance moves as seen in the ecomagination TV commercial.  The goal is to make the world's longest line dance online.  Your video will help GE donate 20 years of clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations.
If you think you're really good, the best line dance video will win a GE ecomagination Home Appliance Makeover with up to $10,000 of eco-friendly GE appliances.  Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.  The only thing is, I don't know how to line dance.  I'm pretty sure I learned how to a few times as a kid to the music of Garth Brooks or Brooks and Dunn, perhaps even an Alan Jackson song.  I just don't remember how to.  It can't be that hard to learn though.
You can click here or type http://www.youtube.com/ecomagination in your browser to enter your video.  If you're like me and you're just not sure how to or don't remember how to, they have multiple videos of people line dancing.  Get some tips while you're there to make your video unique.  Maybe record yourself doing a line dance at the next concert you attend, or do it at a place you just wouldn't expect to see a line dance.  It's fun to do and you get to help out a great cause in the process.  Put on your boots and have fun!
