Calhoun High Football Team to be Honored With Parade Today

The City of Port Lavaca will host a parade in honor of the Calhoun High School football team at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The parade will run from the Port Lavaca City Hall and go south on Virginia Street, turn left on Main Street, and go back to city hall. Mayor Jack Whitlow will honor the team with a proclamation at the conclusion of the short parade. The parade is being held to honor the Sandcrab football team's historic playoff run.
