Calhoun County 4th of July Celebrations

The 12th annual Independence Day Fireworks Display: the Bash at the Bay is in Point Comfort at 9:15 p.m. Saturday or when it turns dark. Activities include a free pool party at 6 p.m. in the City Park. Swimming pool capacity is 250 people according to the Victoria Advocate.

Also, the annual fireworks display in Port O'Connor will begin at dusk Saturday on King Fisher Beach. Vendors will sell beverages, food and crafts in advance of the fire works. The Port O'Connor Chamber of Commerce advises people to bring chairs and blankets.
