It feels as if the timing is going to be perfect for Victoria to get a look at a fast rising country star.  After making his mark in the country music business by writing hit songs for Jason Aldean (My Kinda Party, Dirt Road Anthem) he is 're-releasing' his Halfway To Heaven cd.

The number two may be lucky for Brantley Gilbert, since this is the second time he’s released his Halfway to Heaven album, and it debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart. The CDs’ ‘Deluxe Edition’ includes three previously unreleased songs that Brantley says complete the story. Gilbert told CMT Daily Roundup, “There’s a song on there called ‘More than Miles.’ It’s a true story about a girl and, uh, I mean, you’ll get it when you hear it. [laughs] It’s talking about coming to Nashville, uh, we actually ended things. I was on my way to Nashville and turned around and came back. And, uh, it’s just, kinda a little story about that. It’s called ‘More than Miles,’ and the hook is, ‘There’s more than miles in my rearview.’” In addition, Halfway to Heaven landed at #4 on Billboard’s Top 200 all-genre albums chart.

You can hear Brantley Gilbert every day on KIXS 108.
