If you've lived in the south all your life and you've never had the pleasure of playing in the snow, you'll get the chance to do just that Saturday in Edna. That's when the Annual Brackenridge Winter Carnival and Snow Day happens the Brackenridge Main Event Center.
From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, the area will be filled with actual snow (man-made, of course) for all kinds of fun events. There will be 2 snow play areas for kids and even non-snow events like a craft zone, interactive games, bumper cars, and other events. When it comes to snow play, there will be a three-story snow mountain for sledding on inflatable tubes for both kids and adults. Wristbands for the event are $20 for all events and if you just want to watch, spectator wristbands are $10, the proceeds of which will go toward future community events.
