‘Botox Mom’ May Have Made Her Story Up

Now, TMZ is reporting that the ‘Botox Mom’ — whose real name is Sheena Upton — made the whole thing up.
According to a sworn declaration by Upton, the British tabloid The Sun approached her and offered her $200 to play the role of Kerry Campbell, a women who injects her eight-year-old daughter with Botox. (Upton agreed.)
It was the article published in the Sun that got the attention of ‘Good Morning America.’ In Upton’s revised version of the events, ‘GMA’ then booked Campbell on the show, not knowing she was just a character that Upton was playing.
The Sun is standing by the veracity of its initial story, and insists that Upton did inject her daughter with Botox.
A spokesperson for Good Morning America said this to Mediate:
“We have just seen the sworn declaration on TMZ written by Sheena Upton, a.k.a. Kerry Campbell, and are vigorously investigating her most recent statement and rapidly shifting story.”
