Blake Shelton, the CMA reigning Male Vocalist of the Year, once again took the honors home during the 2011 CMA Awards on Wednesday night. Shelton competed in the category against Album of the Year winner Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.

After being planted with a big kiss and hug from his wife, Miranda Lambert, Shelton made his way to the stage, grinning from ear to ear. “They’re spoilin’ me!” Shelton said after being handed his second CMA for the Male Vocalist win. “I didn’t really prepare anything to say at all. I didn’t think y’all would let me get away with this two times.”

Shelton continued on to thank his record label, Warner Bros. Records, who signed the singer 10 years ago when Giant Records closed its doors. “You guys are killin’ it, man,” Shelton praised of the staff and roster under the label group. “It’s unbelievable.”

In his acceptance speech, Shelton also gave kudos to his management team — Narval and Brandon Blackstock, as well as Reba McEntire (who are the forces behind Starstruck Entertainment), his booking agency William Morris, country radio, and of course his beautiful bride who was watching her new husband lovingly from the front row.

“But most of all,” he said as he wrapped up his thank yous and pointed to the fans who filled the arena, “all you freakin’ crazy people out here supporting country music. Thank you so much!”
