Best Places for a Kid’s Birthday Party in Victoria – Melissa’s Top Five
If you have a little one, you will definitely want to read this.
I believe birthday parties are more important than holidays because it’s that one day out of the year to celebrate just them and make them feel extra-special. I have a seven year old boy so we have had many birthday parties at different places over the years. Every year I look for somewhere better than last year. The best part about having the party away from the house is there is no clean up. Here are a few places below you could host your child’s birthday party.
What kid doesn’t like animals and being outdoors? The zoo has parties for all ages with up close encounters with different animals. We had Andrew’s 3rd birthday party at the zoo. If you choose to have your kids birthday parties at the zoo, a great gift for them would be to allow them to adopt an animal. These start as low as $15.00 on up. They will receive a certificate with them. The one thing I like about having a party here is that you are educating the kids about animals and conservation at the same time while they are having fun. This is the bowling alley where we had Andrew’s 6th birthday party here. Depending on the age you might have to ask for bumpers for the little ones. Century Lanes also has an arcade so make sure you bring your quarters for arcade games. I really appreciated that they give you a great party favor when having your party there and that is they give you a coupon for kids to get a free bowling game on their next. Known as the “The Bouncing Party Zone”, a place where kids can roam free and do a lot of bouncing. We had Andrew’s 5th birthday party here .One thing I really like about this place is how brightly painted the walls are and it’s very clean. The Magic Bounce is full of things for kids to bounce on and yet in the a/c which is a plus for the parents. This is where we had Andrew’s party in April. I have to say I think the adults might have had more fun then the kids. This place is very open and there is so much to do from rock climbing to climbing ropes, jumping on a trampoline, bouncing really big balls, sliding down the slides, going across the monkey bars, playing in the foam pit to Andrew’s favorite part the zip line. One thing I really liked is all the kids had a blast no matter the age. for more info visit http://www.manningsgym.com/
The Splashway Waterpark is a bit of a drive from Victoria but definitely worth the trip. I would love to have Andrew’s party here but since his birthday is in April they aren’t open yet. Splashway has areas for all ages of kids to the baby area to the lazy river where you float in your tubes, to Pirate’s Cove, Wave Pool, Hurricane Hill, Tropical Storm and much more. Splash way also has a really neat mascot, Ray. and he is a sun. I really enjoy going to Splashway because they always have the best tunes playing. Splashway also has an overnight camping area. I m thinking next year we might celebrate Andrew’s birthday a little late and have it here. For more info to have your party at Splashway visit http://www.splashwaywaterpark.com.
Andrew told me this was his best birthday yet. I hope I can top it next year. I wish you the best of luck when planning your child’s birthday party. The most important thing is to make sure your child feels extra special on his or her day.
