Registration has begun for Victoria College's noncredit Beginning Photography class focusing on the world of digital photography. Classes will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, April 7 to 17 in Room 204 of VC's Continuing Education Center. This class will help students master the technical aspects of the camera such as white balance, exposure, focal length and depth of field says the Victoria Advocate. Students will also learn how to combine that knowledge with the elements of design and composition to take extraordinary pictures every time. The class will cover portrait, sport, landscape and other specialty photography. Students are asked to bring their own camera and camera manual. Course materials will be provided. This class offers eight contact hours, and a certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the class.
