Anne Hudson was raised in The Woodlands, Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999. She packed her bags and moved to Kentucky where she was a morning show co-host on 103.7 WPTQ and a mid-day show host on 100.7 WKLX. Anne spent her weekends as a TV-Reporter on the ABC affiliate WBKO. Anne’s love for Texas and more importantly Texas Music is what brought her back to Texas.
Anne Hudson is one of those people that seems to be in several different places at the same time. She is quite possibly one of the busiest people in the music business with a TV show (Hill Country) on the ME network in Austin and her own radio show on Victoria's KIXS 108.
Through her TV and radio work, she has close contact and many valuable relationships with artists in the Texas Music scene and is one of the most knowledgeable personalities involved in the format.
Hudson has been the emcee for the annual Music Fest in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and the Gruene With Envy awards for several years. She has also hosted the Billy Joe Shaver Birthday Bash and many other shows throughout Texas. Hudson's outgoing personality and positive attitude makes her a favorite for both established and new artists for interviews.
While keeping up with the latest news out of Nashville and the national scene covering artists like Faith Hill and Rascal Flatts, Hudson is also keenly in tune with what's going on in the Lone Star State staying up to date with the newest releases and latest success stories.
With the huge success Texas Music has experienced over the last few years it is a definite advantage to have a show like Hill Country to give exposure to up and coming artists and having Hudson at the helm will insure that the show will always be exciting, fresh and interesting.
