Alanna Conaway’s love for music began at an early age, but it wasn’t until her mother began freelancing for country music magazines that she was thrown in the midst of her future career. At age 11, Conaway received praise from Billy Ray Cyrus after seeing her work as an amateur photographer, encouraging her to follow in her mother's footsteps. She then started freelancing for multiple publications as a photographer, before she began dabbling with writing.
