Austwell VFD Fundraiser Saturday

The Austwell Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fry, Dance, Auction, Raffle and Fire Works Show will take place in Wilson Heard Park in Austwell from 5-7 p.m Saturday to raise money for needed equipment. The fish fry plates are $7 each and consist of fried fish, cole slaw, hush puppies, beans and tea or water. Sodas are $1 each.  The schedule of events is as follows;

6:30 p.m. - Live auction.

8 p.m. to midnight - Dance. Music provided by Doin It Big Entertainment. There will be a children's dance contest.

BYOB, with setups available.

Raffle is for a Phillip Sawyer Custom Cooker ($2,000 value). Tickets are $5 each or six for $20. Contact any AVFD member.

10 p.m. - Fireworks Show.
