National Night Out - The purpose of this night is to bring neighbors and community leaders together. The idea is that by meeting face-to-face the communities will be able to fight crime.Do you know your neighbors? Does your neighborhood have a "Neighborhood Watch"-type program in place?

The Victoria Police Department has several programs available to citizens who wish to be proactive in preventing crime in the city. Check out their Crime Prevention webpage for more information on how YOU can help to prevent crime right in your own neighborhood!
