Art Exhibit Opens at VC March 17th

An exhibit of paintings and mixed media will be on display beginning March 17 in the Victoria College Fine Arts Gallery in the Fine Arts Building. The exhibit is free and open to the public. "Reconfigured Space" is a collection of work done by artist Cathleen Gordon since she joined VC as an art instructor in August. An exhibit reception, open to the public, will be from 4 to 6 p.m. March 17 in the Fine Arts Building, 2200 E. Red River St.

"This is my introduction to the public and to share with them some of the work I've done since I've been here at Victoria College," Gordon told the Victoria Advocate. "The title reflects that work and is a metaphor for the reconfigured spaces since I've moved."

The exhibit will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays through April 4.
