This recipe has been a tradition in my family for quite some time now and I finally decided to try it out for myself over the weekend.  It turned out extremely well and I was happy to have tried my own Cheesy Potatoes.  This recipe works with pretty much anything.  I had it with Pork Chops, you could have it as a side dish while eating steak, seafood, a snack, anything.  It's also especially good if you have a lot of people coming over or for a holiday meal.  Here is the recipe and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.  You can email me at robgarrett@townsquaremedia.com

2 lbs hash pounds - partly thaw
1/2 cup chop onion
MIX:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1-16 oz.  sour cream
1 stick butter
Melt butter on stove, add soup and sour cream. Add 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese. (Save a little to add to top of potatoes when almost done)
Add dash of salt and pepper and mix. Place in 9x13 pan and bake 1 - 1 1/2 hours at 375. Last 10 minutes add rest of cheese on top. Some people add 1 cup crushed potato chips to top but I typically don't.
good luck and enjoy.
