“Always A Bridesmaid” at Shiner Gaslight Theatre

The Shiner Gaslight Theatre presents "Always a Bridesmaid," directed by Vickie Westergren, starting Friday. The hilarious comedic romp involves four friends who have sworn to keep the promise they made on the night of their Senior Prom: to be in each other's weddings -- no matter what. More than thirty years later, these Southern friends-for-life are still making "the long walk" for each other, determined to honor that vow. Tickets are $30 each. Please, no children under 4. Performance dates are as follows: July 24, 25, 26, 29, 31 and Aug. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9.

Evening performances begin with dinner served at 7 p.m., followed by the performance at 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Sunday matinees begin with the meal served at 1 p.m., followed by the performance at 2 p.m. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
