Adopt-A-Pet’s Spring Neuter-A-Thon For Male Cats
Adopt-A-Pet in Victoria is holding its annual Spring Neuter-A-Thon for male cats this Saturday, March 31, from 9-1 p.m. This event is open to the public with no residency, income, or other requirements. Male cats receive a rabies vaccination and neuter for only $20. Drop off your male cat at Adopt-A-Pet and pick-up same day! Usually, pick-up is about 3 hours after drop-off, but for sure by the end of the business day. No appointments necessary, just drop off between 9a.m – 1p.m.
If possible, do not give food or water after midnight the night before surgery so that the stomach is empty. Males should be around 5 months-old or older or if testicles are visible. Neutering male cats not only prevents unwanted litters, but it lowers cancer rates, eliminates unpleasant odors from marking/spraying, and reduces fighting, roaming and the spread of disease.
It’s a great price for 1 year rabies and the surgery. That’s cheaper than a pair of shoes and it’s a one time thing! I’m tempted to take my neighbor’s cat, but shhh, I didn’t say that. Seriously, $20 to stop him peeing in the flowerbeds or my truck! I’m just saying.

By the way, the cat above is Loxx, and the cat shown on the homepage is Reagan. They are both available for adoption!
