A Hitchhiker’s Guide To Carpooling

Everyone knows gas prices have skyrocketed so far in 2012 and there are talks that it will just get worse.  When do you get to the point when you are looking for alternatives to get to work.  Do you start taking the bus, getting a bicycle, moped, smart car, or what about starting to carpool.

It's hard to trust people, in my opinion it's more difficult to trust someone you don't know driving you to work.  It seems to be working for others though in the U.S. and even in Texas.  There is a new website called Erideshare.com where people can look up destinations and see if others will be making the same commute to work as you do.
