5K Fun Run Saturday in Riverside Park

The 'Let Freedom Ring' 5k Fun Run is Saturday in Riverside Park at the children's park pavillion. Camp Leatherneck 1/7 Battalion will soon lose its commisary/PX. This fun run is to support our troops over seas, and proceeds from this run will go toward the shipment of care packages. Show your support by wearing red, white and blue or camo! Ring the Liberty Bell as you run in for someone you know who has served or is still serving to protect our freedom.

Registration fee: $20. You can register at the Hastings Hardback Cafe from 5-7 p.m. between July 11-18. You may also register the day of the run if you arrive about 20 minutes before it starts, about 7:40 a.m. Medals will be awarded to the first three finishers.
