Yay!! Another awards show is on the horizon!! We've been through this before and, by now, you probably know how I feel about awards shows. But, just in case you don't, here's a little refresher; #1... I think music is an art and I don't think we need 'art contests'.  #2... There are way too many awards shows. That being said, I'll be watching just like you.

 
Carrie Underwood joins the list of performers for the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards. Carrie plans to sing her brand new single and has a few surprises in store for the performance. Speaking with CMT Daily Roundup, Carrie said, “Being in Vegas is always a lot of fun and I’m glad to finally get to perform ‘Good Girl’ in a big situation. It’s gonna be really good. We’re having something made for the performance and it’ll be pretty rockin’.” Also added to the lineup at the ACMs are Keith Urban and Sara Evans. The ACM Awards air Sunday, April 1st at 8PM Eastern on CBS.
     

Previously announced performers include: Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and Chris Young.
