Would you drive a car made out of paper? Brooklyn artist Jonathan Brand has combined his artistic talent with his love of cars to build a car entirely out of folded paper right down to the spark plugs.

Brand began by creating a 3D replica on his computer and then printing out the pieces with an inkjet printer. Meticulously folding the paper he built life-sized parts that are on a 1:1 scale to the pieces of the 1969 Mustang coupe that he restored and sold to buy an engagement ring.

The work, called ‘One Piece at a Time,’ will exhibit each of the parts separately at Hofsfelt Gallery in New York from September 20th to October 29th.
